Family and small teams

Darpan gives each person their own desktop under their own Linux account. The host owner creates these accounts and explicitly allows them in the host configuration. A cloud invitation does not create a local account.

Open a host in the dashboard, then its members page. Enter the person’s email and the existing Linux username they should use. The recipient accepts while signed in to the matching cloud account.

Pilot accounts and member limits are assigned by the operator. Public plans and payments are not available.

Use a host with people you trust. Local accounts and agent desktops share one operating system; they are not virtual machines for mutually untrusted customers. Check resource usage when several desktops run together.

Owners can revoke membership from the members page. Keep the Linux account policy in sync when someone leaves. Changes to cloud membership affect subsequent cloud sign-ins; also end any existing host session when immediate removal is needed.

Use it to test access to your own Linux creative or AI setup. The private pilot does not include enterprise identity integration, a hosted workstation, high availability or a service-level agreement.
